Before we get into specifics, let us be clear on our shipping "philosophy":
- We want to get things to you as quickly as humanly possible;
- We are not in business to "profit" from shipping; you are charged what we are charged;
- Under-commit; Over-deliver.
Delivery Method
We use UPS as our primary method of shipping. Therefore, orders must be shipped to a physical address; we cannot ship to P.O. boxes.
Delivery Time
Delivery Time is dependent on 2 factors. The first is "Availability", which is noted on every product\'s detail page and informs you of how quickly an item will be ready to ship out. For example, some items will ship within 24 hours, whereas others may take as many as several weeks (especially custom products). The "Availability" attribute is an estimate. Orders for very small or very large sizes will sometimes need to be special ordered, and may take a few extra days. We do our best to ship items out as quickly as possible, so we often get orders out more quickly than is noted by the "Availability" timeframe, but please do not count on that. The second factor is the method of delivery - Standard (UPS Ground) is the slowest, while Rush (generally UPS Next Day) is the fastest. Additionally, please note that delivery time is also based on "business" days. For example, if you place an order on Sunday, it\'s impossible for us to ship an item the same day as all the shippers are closed.
During the holiday season, shipping carriers are unbelievably busy. While we will do everything in our power to ship your product quickly, we cannot predict difficulties with UPS, FedEx, or the Postal Service. Upon shipment, you will receive a notification email with tracking information so you can follow your order\'s progress.
Calculating Cost
Shipping costs for orders from WedPlan101 Shopping depends upon the methods and options you choose. For example, selecting Priority as your shipping method is more expensive than selecting Standard. Additionally, the shipping rates for many items we sell are dependent upon weight and package size. Also, to reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use (e.g. UPS), all weights are rounded up to the next full pound.
We do not profit from shipping. We charge you exactly what we are charged by whatever shipping company is used to deliver your package. For example, if UPS charges us $6.73 to deliver your package, that is the same amount that you are charged. We also oppose "handling fees" so you won\'t see any of those. If you have any questions about your shipping rate, please email us and we will happily fax you over the invoice from the shipping company.
For an example, if your order weighs 1-2 pounds (which covers 75% of the products on the website) and that the box dimensions are typical (i.e. the size of a breadbasket or smaller), that Standard Ground delivery to anywhere within the contiguous U.S. should be between $7-$9.
Return Policy
Our Philosophy on Returns
- First and foremost, we want you to be happy with your purchase, and we would like to be the first place you think of when you need something

- Most items may be returned within 30 days of delivery in saleable condition, for an exchange or a full refund (less shipping charges)
Exchanges
If we made a mistake and you need to exchange the item you have for another, HOLD ON TO IT! Send us an email or call us at 866.687.2318 and we will send you out the new item along with a return label postage-paid to return the wrong item. Your exchange will be handled quickly and at no new additional cost to you!
Returns
All items should be returned to the address below in saleable condition. Upon receipt, a credit will be applied to the original form of payment; please allow 7 business days for the full processing of your return. We will pay the return shipping costs if the product is defective or the return is a result of our error. If the item is returned for any other reason you are responsible for the return shipping costs and may be charged a restocking fee of 10 percent or $10 (whichever is greater). No returned merchandise will be accepted without a Return Material Authorization (RMA).
Non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of certain items*, including:
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery**
- Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, is missing parts or the manufacturers box.
- Any product missing the serial number or UPC
- Any article of clothing or clothing accessory that has been worn or altered.
- Any underwear that has been tried on or worn (trust us, you want every store to honor that rule).
- Any Book or CD that has been opened or taken out of its plastic wrap.
- Cameras
- Personalized items
Shipping Policy Changes
Returns will be refunded the full amount less the actual shipping charge to the customer. Changes to this policy can be made at the discretion of WedPlan101.
