I get this question all of the time from prospective brides and models ... "So, how many photos do I get for this price?"
Admittedly, I laugh a little and then answer their question like this ...

"I know there are photographers out there who promise hundreds, even thousands of photos for a set price ... well, I don\'t do that. Since these photos are going to document YOUR event, and will be displayed in YOUR home, I just can't hold the shutter and pull the trigger constantly. That's what video is for."

I then explain to them how the importance of framing and catching 'a moment' is what will add more value to their package.

Let's face it, if someone simply want's a ton of grip-and-grin photographs, why invest in a professional?

Any Joe from the street can hold his/her finger on the shutter and give a client thousands of photos ... but be warned ... there may be more tears of sadness than tears of joy when your portfolio of images is delivered.

To get the most of your investment, plan your event from beginning to end, and visualize what you want from the event. Then, talk with your photographer, planner and family about how this can be achieved. Once a plan is in place, the quality will be the focus, and not the quantity.

And that's what will make the difference in the end.
